What is the Process for Joining the Board?

Generally, the term of service is 1 year (from July 1st to June 30th).  Board Members or Program Directors can be approved by vote at any regular meeting throughout the year.  However, it is our goal to establish the Board leadership each year in advance of the fiscal year utilizing the following schedule:

• May: advertise positions that are vacant or available.  Attend the regular Board Meeting to learn more about available positions.
• June: approve new Board Members and Program Directors for upcoming year.
• July: new fiscal year begins. New Board will set meeting schedule for new year.
